Feline Connection Inc. was founded in St. Louis, Missouri as an all-volunteer, no-kill cat adoption/rescue group in November, 1997. The organization rescues homeless, abandoned or abused cats and cats from local shelters before they have to be euthanized. Once a cat or kitten is taken in Feline Connection, Inc. it remains with us until a permanent, loving home is found.
At the time of rescue, all cats are tested for both FeLV and Feline Aids Viruses, given vaccinations appropriate for the age, and given thorough veterinary examinations.
Feline Connection, Inc. is composed of people like you; warm, caring individuals who love cats and volunteer as foster parents, donate their time taking our orphans for veterinary care, shop for supplies, or spend special time socializing our cats and kittens. And the rewards are great! These helpless animals offer love, purring their way into our hearts. The comfort of a soft, warm being who accepts you without question is hard to resist.
We will be publishing a periodic newsletter which is sent to all volunteers, contributors and new adoptive parents. This newsletter provides information on FCI's activities, cat shows, and special rescue stories. We hope you will enjoy receiving your copy, then pass it on to a friend to help us expand.
Consider becoming a foster parent.
Sponsor a cat or kitten in our Companion program until it is adopted.
Purchase a pet bed or one of our toys that is made by our FCI's volunteers. (Pet beds are machine washable and dryable.)
Call to inquire about other opportunities in FCI, such as, helping with a variety of clerical and computer work; working special events or adoption days and sewing or stuffing our bed and toys.
